The story

Garry Peek didn't stumble into fuel retail. He worked in the industry for over a decade before setting up Radium. He saw first hand what was required specific to industry and the importance of reliability.

Fuel transactions aren’t like other transactions. The authorisation logic is different. The loyalty complexity is different. The up-time expectations are different. Off-the-shelf software didn’t cut it, and the big vendors weren’t moving fast enough to keep up.

So in 2000, he founded Radium in Wellington New Zealand and, over 25 year later, he continues to guide the business as a Director.
